FAQs

How long will it take to get my artwork after my wedding?

The process typically takes 16-18 weeks.

How do I get my flowers to Hana Willow Design after my wedding?

Local drop off in Philadelphia is typically either Sundays 4-6pm or Mondays 10:30 a-3p.

To keep your flowers in the best condition possible, we strongly encourage local drop off.

If you need to arrange shipping, we recommend overnight shipping on Mondays. We will send you specific instructions to help keep you flowers in optimal condition. You will be responsible for shipping fees.

Do you ship final artwork?

No. Preserved floral art is extremely fragile and shipping is very expensive. We require local pickup for all final art work.

Do you take last minute, unscheduled orders?

When we can, we do! We totally get it. Sometimes people don’t think about preservation until they fall in love with their flowers. We want to help you hold those memories.

There is a $150 non-refundable fee for orders that are placed within 2 weeks of the wedding date.

Three-dimensional designs must be ordered more than 2 weeks in advance of the wedding.

I see a terrarium or shadow box on Instagram that I like. Can I get the same one?

Possibly. Our shadow boxes are not mass produced. When you contact us to schedule your preservation, we’ll discuss the options available to you.

For terrariums, we will provide links to terrariums that work well. You are responsible for choosing and purchasing a terrarium you like. We will consult to make sure the terrarium is appropriate for preservation. Pricing for terrariums is based on the size and complexity of the vessel you choose.

What if we don’t have a bouquet at our wedding? Or, perhaps have two bouquets instead?

We celebrate our LGBTQIA+ clients. Your flowers can be from a bouquet, a boutonniere, multiple boutonnieres or multiple bouquets or even from table arrangements. We’re happy to preserve your memories any way that’s meaningful to you.

Do I get to see the design before it’s finished?

We will send you a photo of the design in a rough draft stage and ask for your feedback. We’ll incorporate that feedback in the final design.

What will the flowers look like?

We use a very specific process to help the flowers maintain as much of their natural color as possible. We also use color enhancers to help keep them looking vibrant as long as possible.

Preserving flowers sometimes means disassembling, reassembling and replacing some of the blooms.

Not all flowers will be included in the final design. Unused flowers will not be returned.
